Let each of us, brothers and sisters, be pleasing to God in his own rank, maintaining a good conscience and not overstepping the appointed rule of his ministry, but acting with dignity.
Not everywhere, brothers and sisters, are the continual sacrifices, freewill offerings, sin offerings, and trespass offerings presented, but only in Jerusalem. And even there they are not offered in every place, but before the sanctuary at the altar, after the offering has been examined for defects by the high priest and the ministers already mentioned.
Those, therefore, who do anything contrary to what accords with His will incur death as the penalty.
You see, brothers and sisters, that the greater the knowledge of which we have been counted worthy, the greater the danger to which we are exposed.
