Since these things are clear to us, and since we have looked into the depths of divine knowledge, we ought to do in proper order everything the Master commanded us to perform at the appointed times.
He commanded that the offerings and services be performed, not carelessly or disorderly, but at designated times and hours.
He Himself determined, by His supreme will, where and through whom He wishes them to be performed, so that everything may be done reverently, according to His good pleasure, and be acceptable to His will.
Therefore those who make their offerings at the appointed times are acceptable and blessed, for by following the ordinances of the Master they do not go astray.
For the high priest has been given his own proper services, the priests have been assigned their own proper place, and the Levites have their own ministries laid upon them. The layperson is bound by the ordinances for the laity.
