I learned that certain people from elsewhere passed through, bringing evil teaching. You did not allow them to sow it among you, but stopped your ears so that you would not receive what they were sowing. You are stones of the Father's temple, prepared for the building of God the Father, lifted to the heights by the crane of Jesus Christ, which is the cross, using the Holy Spirit as a rope; your faith is your hoist, and love is the road that leads up to God.

You are all, then, fellow travelers, God-bearers and temple-bearers, Christ-bearers and holiness-bearers, adorned in every way with the commandments of Jesus Christ. Rejoicing in these, I too was counted worthy through what I write to converse with you and rejoice together with you, because in the course of human life you love nothing except God alone.
