It is better to be silent and to be than to speak and not to be. It is good to teach if the one who speaks also acts. There is one Teacher who spoke, and it came to be; and the things He has done in silence are worthy of the Father.
The one who truly possesses the word of Jesus can also hear His silence, so that he may be perfect: through what he says he may act, and through his silence he may be known.
Nothing is hidden from the Lord; even our secret things are near to Him. Let us therefore do everything as though He were dwelling in us, so that we may be His temples and He may be in us as our God—which indeed is so and will be manifest before us—from the fact that we rightly love Him.
