The charge answered

For this reason we are called atheists. And we admit that, with respect to such supposed gods, we are atheists—but not with respect to the most true God, the Father of righteousness, self-control, and the other virtues, who is untouched by evil. We revere and worship Him, and the Son who came from Him and taught us these things, and the host of the other good angels who follow Him and are made like Him, and the prophetic Spirit. We honor them with reason and truth, and we freely pass on what we have been taught to anyone who wishes to learn.
