Just as the Lord, being united with the Father, did nothing without Him—neither by Himself nor through the apostles—so you also should do nothing without the bishop and the presbyters. Do not try to regard anything as reasonable for yourselves in private; instead, let there be in common one prayer, one petition, one mind, one hope in love, in blameless joy, which is Jesus Christ, and nothing is better than Him.

All of you, run together as to one temple of God, as to one altar, to one Jesus Christ, who came forth from the one Father, was in the One, and returned to the One.
