Concerning the Eucharist, give thanks in this way:

First, concerning the cup: “We give thanks to You, our Father, for the holy vine of David, Your servant, which You made known to us through Jesus, Your servant. To You be glory forever.”

Concerning the broken bread: “We give thanks to You, our Father, for the life and knowledge that You made known to us through Jesus, Your servant. To You be glory forever.”

“As this broken bread was scattered upon the mountains but was brought together and became one, so let Your Church be gathered from the ends of the earth into Your kingdom, for Yours is the glory and the power through Jesus Christ forever.”

Let no one eat or drink of your Eucharist except those who have been baptized in the name of the Lord. For the Lord also said about this, “Do not give what is holy to the dogs.”
