I do not say this because I know of anything like it among you. Rather, because you are dear to me, I warn you in advance, since I foresee the devil's snares. So take up gentleness and renew yourselves in faith, which is the flesh of the Lord, and in love, which is the blood of Jesus Christ.
Let no one among you hold anything against his neighbor. Do not give occasion to the Gentiles, so that the congregation of God may not be blasphemed because of a few foolish people. For, “Woe to him through whom my name is blasphemed in vain among some.”
