I rejoice greatly in your godly mind, firmly established as on an immovable rock, since I have been counted worthy to see your blameless face, in which may I have joy in God.

I exhort you, in the grace with which you have been clothed, to press on in your course and to encourage everyone so that they may be saved. Fulfill your office with every diligence, both bodily and spiritual. Care for unity, for nothing is better. Bear with everyone, as the Lord bears with you; endure everyone in love, just as you do.

Devote yourself to unceasing prayer. Ask for more understanding than you have. Keep watch with a spirit that does not sleep. Speak to each person individually according to God's own way. Bear everyone's weaknesses as a perfect athlete. Where the toil is greater, the gain is great.
